You know, a lot of misinformed people complain about the Dunwoody Police but they're the first in line to dial 911 when things get hairy. To all you criminally inclined people and deluded drivers who text and drive and run red lights with impunity: Stop committing crimes and the police won't "pick" on you or "harass" you.
I have driven through Dunwoody countless times at all hours and have never felt stalked or harassed by Dunwoody Police but then again, I don't speed in excess of the allowable limit or behave like a wild animal in public.
A first class agency that struggles with all the crime that undesirables and drug dealers bring into Dunwoody.
The Judge would not listen to my evidence although I tried my best to follow court rules. My heart was broken, I sucked up my tears as the solicitor lied during court, I lost the case, and paid my fine. I could not understand why I was not treated with respect. I'm sorry, but as a full-time student I could not afford to pay my attorney to assist me in court. I did try my best and I lost, but the judgement was not fair without the dash cam evidence, which the judge would not permit the court to see.
News flash Megan if you're going to half do your job and have a horrible attitude QUIT!! Im sure there's plenty of other people willing to "protect and serve" better than you. Sorry that someone side swiping my vehicle on the highway was such an inconvenience for you. Thanks for nothing!!!
After being pretty shook up from a MVA, the police officer responded not only quickly. But with great care and concern for my well being. Thank you so much Officer Gill
I think Department needs accountability. Police can lie with impunity and there are no effective checks or remedies within the system. Most are true public servants but they protect the thugs and dishonest minority in their ranks.Citizen oversight is badly needed.
Being a police officer on the edge of Atlanta is not always an easy job and disrespecting these officers by saying they're liars or criminals themselves should be an arrestable offense!
Thanks to officer MEGAN NORRIS I have still not received payment from insurance from an accident I was involved in a MONTH AGO!!! She had a nasty horrible attitude and is completely incompetent. She still has yet to respond to my email and fix the police report!!! She must have been in LaLa land or outer space because she listed a COMPLETELY different vehicle from the one I was actually driving and the at fault insurance company REFUSES to pay until she fixes her mistake!!!!
How do you confuse a 2009 Mazda with some general random license plate number with my 2013 Honda Crosstour with a CUSTOM VANITY PLATE????!!!! She could have at least put down the correct tag information because it's my MIDDLE NAME!!
